ARRIVAL TEHRAN
Arrival at Tehran’s IKA airport; meet and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
TEHRAN – DAMGHAN
Drive to Damghan, passing through Firuzkuh and Semnan, visiting Tarik-Khaneh Mosque in Damghan, Cheshmeh-Ali, the Assassins Castle at Gerdkuh, and Mehman-Doust Tower; overnight stay at hotel.
DAMGHAN – GARME
Drive to the Kavir (desert) via Sar-e-Kavir, Jandagh and Khour; overnight stay at local house near Khour.
GARME-EXCURSION TO MESR VILLAGE
Full day excursion to Mesr village, Garmeh & light trekking on the sand dunes; overnight stay at local house.
GARMEH-NA’IN
Drive to Na’in, enroute visit Chah-e-Kharboze, Anarak Caravanserai; continue the drive to Na’in and visit the 10th century Friday Mosque; overnight stay at hotel.
NA’IN – YAZD
Drive to Yazd, the center for Iran’s small Zoroastrian community for full day sightseeing in the city center and few important monuments around the city; overnight stay at hotel.
SHIRAZ
Drive to Shiraz, stop at Abarkuh, a charming desert town, continue and visit Pasargadae. on to Shiraz, arrive in the afternoon and visit main monuments; overnight stay at hotel.
SHIRAZ/EXCURSION TO PERSEPOLIS & NAGHSH-E-ROSTAM-ISFAHAN
Morning excursion to Persepolis; return to Shiraz for some visits to main sightseeing attractions and the Vakil Bazaar; transfer to airport for flight to Isfahan; overnight stay at hotel.
ISFAHAN
Full city tour of the beautiful city of Isfahan, the 17th century capital of the Safavids, referred to as Nesf-e-Jahan (Half of the World) in Safavid sources, to visit the famous monuments and historical sites ending up in to the Qeisarieh Bazaar with hundreds of shops displaying the art and handicrafts for which Isfahan is world famous, overnight stay at hotel.
ISFAHAN-TEHRAN
Morning drive to Tehran, enroute visit the charming town of Natanz and desert town of Kashan with some of the best examples of existing “badgirs” (wind-catchers); continue to Tehran; overnight stay at hotel.
TEHRAN
Full day visit to some of Tehran’s major museums and panoramic views of main streets (all above museums are closed on Mondays); overnight stay at hotel.
TEHRAN – DEPARTURE
Transfer to IKA airport for departure flight.
