The highest summit of Iran_ the beauteous Damavand, the highest volcanic peak in Asia and in The Middle East with 5610 m height and thousands of tales and myths, seems like a tall demon and an ever-steady poplar which is waiting to welcome its lovers.
Damavand, the man of Iran’s central mountain ranges of Alborz from 2008 now on considered as the first natural heritage of Iran in The List of National Monuments of Iran and is still waiting to be registered at UNESCO.
The best time to visit is summer, fall and spring.
After arrival, we move to Rineh and stay in Rineh Mountaineering Federation or in local homes, then consume proper food and pack to climb Damavand (buying tools, preparation and etc.) next we get familiarize with Rineh region and visit the elegant view of Damavand, little by little we rest at the beginning hours of night to rise for the first day.
Tthe next morning after 3 o’clock, we have a light breakfast and move to the point of mountaineering from federation with Land Cruiser, we start from the southern front and the hiking begins at 4 to 4:30. Around 12 to 12:30, depending on the amount of rest and ability of mountaineers, we have to reach to the camp to enjoy the beauties of the environment and in the third camp we will visit the most beautiful sunset and then after we meet mountaineering groups, we will take a rest.
At 3:30 in the morning, we start hiking and watch the sunrise from the highest point of Iran and hike above the clouds.
After reaching to the summit and enjoying and taking photo of the highest point of Iran, we will return and around 5 o’clock in the afternoon will take a rest in the third camp or in our own camps.
We move from the camp to the sheepfold (second camp), then we move to federation and after backpacking, will get back to Tehran. This can also be a 5-day tour and we spend touring until the last day.
