Day 1: Tehran

Nature Bridge
It’s the longest pedestrian bridge in Iran and offers the most unique view of Tehran. It’s considered the 3rd symbol of Tehran. This bridge overlooks some of the biggest highways of Tehran and connects the Taleghani Park to Abo-o Atash Park, also the third biggest Flag in the world can be seen from this bridge, located in Taleghani park. This structure has won numerous awards including the Aga Khan for Architecture from New York.
Milad Tower
This is the tallest tower in Iran and the third tallest Telecommunications tower in the world, also 19th tallest self-supporting structure in the world. This tower offers the best view of Tehran and hosts various important festivals. You can enjoy watching the beautiful sunset of Tehran from here.

Day 2: Tehran

Visit Golestan Palace (A UNESCO World Heritage Site)

Visit The Carpet Museum Of Iran Or Treasury Of National Jewels (the museum opens Saturday till Tuesday ,can replace Abgineh museum of Tehran )
Golestan Palace
This is one of the most unique historical complexes in all of Iran with a 440 years old history. It was recognized as UNESCO World Heritage site in 2013.
Museum of Carpets
A Collection of beatiful and intricate carpets from  weavers from all over Iran is gathered in this place. This museum includes 135 exquisite carpets and Kilims too.
Treasury of National Jewls
It’s a museum showcasing Iranian Royal Jewles dating back to Safavid era. The world’s most beutiful pink diomond, known as Kooh-e Noor (Mountain of Light) is kept here.
The Grand Bazaar
The layout of this historic market was designed by the artists and architects of Qajar era. Intricate hallways and Brick Domes, the Legacy of Qajar artists, are some of the highlights of this magnificent place. In addition to visiting this historic and beautiful site, you can try and enjoy delicious Iranian foods in traditional restaurants and buy unique handcrafts to bring back home as souvenirs for your loved ones.

Day 3: Tehran

Visit The Sa’d Abad Palace

Visit Tajrish Bazaar And Emamzadeh Saleh Mausoleum
Tajrish Bazaar of Tehran
This market has a 150 year history. It’s resembles all the colors and sounds of Tehran. You can find Delicious and unusual food in this place. A nostalogic place for tourists looking to visit one of the most famous bazaars in Iran.
Imamzadeh Saleh
The resting place of a son of the Twelver Shia Imam. It’s one of the holy places recognized as National Heritage. The structure of this place belongs to 7-8th Century.
Darband
It’s a beautiful mountainous site with up-country environment and a white water river. This place is one of the well known mountaineer routes with spectacular scenery. You can also find delicous food and tasty stuff here.

Day 4: Tehran-Kashan

Visit Boroujerdi Traditional Houses and Bazaar

Fin Bathroom of Kashan
One of the most attractive Iranian gardens, recognized by UNESCO as world heritage site, which dates back to Saffavid era. This is one of most visited places in Iran where some of historic events of Iran has taken place.
Borujerdi House
Borujerdi house belongs to Qajar era and it’s construction began in 13th century, and it’s one of Iran’s Heritage sites. It was chosen as UNESCO’s top choice in 2015 and 2016 with respect to tourist attraction popularity.

Day5: Abyaneh Village – Esfahan

Esfehan: Sio-Ce-Pol And Khaju (historical bridge)

Abyaneh Village
A 1500 year old village, known as Isfahan’s Red Jewel. All the inhabitants of the village use local clothing which can be very intresting. Historic and religious attractions are representative of originality and beauty of this place.
Si-o-se-pol
This bridge belongs to Saffavid era with more than 400 years of history. It’s the symbol of Isfahan placed over Zayandeh-rood. This is a masterpiece in architecture and it is included in National Heritage list of Iran.
Khaju Bridge
One of the most attractive bridges of its time, and one of the most beautiful architectural masterpieces of Islamic world. It was constructed in 1650 AD and considered as one of Iran’s heritage sites.

Day 6: Isfahan

Naghsh-e jahan Square
One of the first Iranian sites recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage. This huge square includes plenty of historical attractions from Saffavid era, showcasing the best that Iranian art has to offer.
Ali Qapu
Ali Qapu palace is one of the most beautiful buildings is Isfahan and offers an awesome view to Naghsh-e Jahan Square.
Mount Soffeh
At 2257 meters from sea level, it’s the highest point in Isfahan and offers a tremendous view from this historic city.
Bazaar of Isfahan
One of the oldest traditional markets of the world with unique architecture. The shops and chambers of this 400 year old market are full of handcrafts and works of art.

Day 7: Isfahan

The history of This mosque dates back to 2th century AD. It’s primarily made of raw clay and it became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2012.
Vank Cathedral
It’s a historical cathedral and a place of worship to Isfahan’s Armenians. This is the most beatiful church in Isfahan and indeed one of the most famous cathedrals in Iran.
Hasht Behesht
The most stunning palace in Isfahan, this is a historic garden located in the center of Isfahan which was once known as the most beautiful garden in the world.

Day 8: Maybod -Yazd

Naryn Castle
Naryn Castle or Narenj Castle is a castle in the city of Nain, Iran, and is one of the attractions of Nain County. This castle was built by the Parthian Empire dating back to pre Islam era. This place is believed to have been a place of both Worship and of Strategic defensive importance.
Naein Ceramic Making facility
You can see the art of making ceramics up close in this place and even make them with your own hands. Designs from the bygone years of Iran can be found on the surface of the pottery in here.

Maybod Nareen citadel

Naryn Castle or Narenj Castle is a castle in the city of Nain, Iran, and is one of the attractions of Nain County. This castle was built by the Parthian Empire dating back to pre Islam era. This place is believed to have been a place of both Worship and of Strategic defensive importance.

ِDay9: Yazd

 

Yazd Tower or Silence
“Death is not the end of life, it’s the start of soul’s happiness.” You can feel the commotion of the dead in this Zoroastrian cemetery and get familiar with Zoroastrian traditions in this site.
Amir Chakhmagh Complex
It was constructed in the 8th century to boost Yazd’s economy and status. The Amir Chakhmaq Complex is a famous historical site in Yazd, noted for its symmetrical sunken alcoves. It is a mosque located on a square of the same name. It also contains a caravanserai, a tekyeh, a bathhouse, a cold water well, and a confectionery. At night, the building is lit up after twilight hours after sun set with orange lighting in the arched alcoves which makes it a spectacle.
Dowlat-Abad Garden
At 33 meters high, The world’s biggest wind catcher is in this place.
Pahlavan pour and Dowlat Abad gardens are two of the first sites in Yazd to be recognized as World Heritage, by UNESCO. Constructed at the end of Afshar Era, this is one of best places to visit in the ancient city of Yazd.

Day 10: Shiraz

Pasargadae
Legacy of the great Achaemenid era, it is the 5th Iranian archeological site recognized by UNESCO. Cyrus the Great was killed in a battle in 562 B.C. and he was buried here. The resting place of Cyrus the Great… What else can anyone ask of a historical site.
Perspolis Shiraz
It was the glorious and magnificent capital of the Persian civilizations, built in 512 B.C. its a 2500 year old site. . One of the top archeological sites of the world.
Quran Gates
Iranians believe that if you go through the Gates of Quran, you will have safe trip. Its one of the Iranian Heritage sites. The Qurans kept in that Gate were so huge they were called “17 Man/weighing as much as 17 people”. And now they are kept at Museum of Paris.

Day 11: Shiraz

Nasir al Molk mosque
Nasir al molk mosque, with colorful windows, high vaults and unique tile work, is the most eye-catching, and must see mosque in Shiraz. It’s from Qajar era and its construction took 12 years. The best time for visiting this magnificent place is 7-10 AM when you can take pictures and capture the beautiful dance of colors happening there.
Narenjestan Gaarden
It’s a beautiful Garden built in Qajar era. Its full of Orange and Palm trees. A Garden that resembles the 7 Iranian arts and is known and adored for this very reason.
Karim Khan Citadel
It was where King Karim Khan lived his life and its the most outstanding legacy of Zandieh Dynasty. In the past, the citadel was sometimes used as a prison. Today, it is a museum operated by Iran’s Cultural Heritage Organization. A public park surrounds it. The Arg of Karim Khan was built in 1180 AH (1766-7). Karim Khan invited the best architects and artists of the time and bought the best materials from other cities and abroad for the construction of the castle of Karim Khan, which was quickly constructed. During the Zand dynasty it was used by the king as living quarters. During the Qajar period it was used as the governor’s seat. Relieve the Zandieh era by visiting this site.

Vakil Bazaar and Vakil Mosque

This Mosque was built during Zand Dynasty ruling of Iran. A collection of delicate tile work, Calligraphy, Mosaic,  Sculpture, and painting is the perfect representation of Iranian art. Morvarid (meaning pearl) Vault is the most popular part of this site.

Day 12: Shiraz

Eram Garden
Eram Garden is the most awe inspiring garden in all of Shiraz. With beautiful areas and mansions, this is one of the nine World Heritage gardens in Iran. It belongs to Seljuqs era but there is no exact date for the construction of this garden. Visiting the 1000 year old Cypress and the Mansion in the middle of the Garden is definitely a worthwhile experience. This site is so beautiful that its a constant feature in most #ShirazPhotography pictures.
Tomb of Hafez
Step into the world of Iranian poetry and in the resting place of the greatest Iranian poet, spend some time reflecting on the almost divine words of this great poet, admired by the likes of Goethe and Emerson.
The construction f this tomb date back  to 1784. In a mysterious way no matter which page of the Hafez poems you open, you will find a wisdom that seems very unique to you personally, having this inspiring experience at his resting place can be the ultimate Hafez exprienece.
