The Rig Jenn is a vast area of sand dunes in the middle of Dasht-e Kavir, Iran’s central desert in the border region of the Semnan and Isfahan provinces. So many scary and mysterious stories are associated with this place. If you want to travel through one of the scariest and most dangerous deserts in the world, come to Iran and look for the desert of Rig Jenn.
At 7 PM we depart from Tehran for the city of Naein. We will arrive around noon and before having lunch,visit Narin Castle Jameh Mosque of Naein.
After lunch, we will travel to Ashtian village to visit and stay the night.
Early morning we will depart for Rig Jenn, once we arrive we will have about a 10 km trek in front of us. We’ll come back to Ashyan village afterwards. We’ll have lunch in the desert and spend the night at Ashyan’s tourist residence.
We’ll return to Tehran in the morning.
